Jonas Medeiros is the Research Director at CCI/Cebrap. A social scientist with a doctorate in Education from Unicamp, he is a researcher at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (Cebrap) and member of the Law and Democracy Center (NDD). He investigates the public sphere, social movements and collective action with empirical research carried out on feminists, high school students and patriots. He is co-author of the books The Bolsonaro Paradox (Springer, 2021) and Escolas de Luta (Schools of Struggle, Ed. Veneta, 2016), as well as co-editor of the collection Ocupar e Resistir (Occupy and Resist, Ed. 34 / Fapesp, 2019).
